Black Silicon Carbide Grit & Powder | YUMO New Material
Black Silicon Carbide is a synthetic abrasive with Mohs 9.5 hardness, produced from quartz sand and coke. Known for high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, it excels in grinding, refractory materials, and semiconductor wafer cutting, particularly for hard, brittle non-metallic substrates.
Black Silicon Carbide Grit (F12-F220, C≥98%) is a high-hardness abrasive for cutting stone, refractory materials, and rough metal grinding, offering superior thermal shock resistance and cost efficiency.

Black Silicon Carbide Grit
Black SiC Micro Powder (1-50μm, Fe≤0.1%) excels in semiconductor wafer dicing, precision ceramic polishing, and advanced coatings, with ultra-low impurities meeting SEMI/MEMS industry standards.

⚫ Black Silicon Carbide
🔧 metalworking
✅ Hard alloy rough grinding: Processing tungsten steel/high-speed steel tools, grinding efficiency is 40% higher than alumina.
🏺 Ceramics and refractory materials
✅ Refractory castables: Enhance the thermal shock resistance of kiln furniture (no cracking after 20 rapid cooling and heating cycles at 1600 ℃).
✅ Silicon carbide ceramic sintering: As a reaction sintered SiC raw material, the density is ≥ 3.0 g/cm ³.
💡 Electronics and Semiconductors
✅ Silicon ingot square: F36-F80 sand is used for cutting photovoltaic silicon blocks, with a wire consumption 15% lower than that of green silicon carbide.
